Adelaide Comic Con is coming! 0
It's nearly that time of year again, Adelaide Oz Comic Con. All the fun and nerdy good times is happening next weekend, April 1-2. Hero Stash will be exhibiting there and we know you all will be coming just for us, but take some time to say hi to some of the guests attending like Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo, Aquaman), Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the Teenage Witch), Brent Spinner (Data), Clive Standen (Rollo) and many more including the voice of Mario/Luigi from the Nintendo games, Super Mario Brothers (Charles Martinet). There are plenty more stars coming so make sure you are there to meet them and grab their autograph or a photo with them. Click the below photo for a full guest list.
We have lots of big plans for the event this year and not only will we have all the latest Pop! Vinyls and collectables, we are also taking some vaulted, rare and imported stickered Pop! Vinyls.
This year will also be the first year we are running a competition at the event. Who wants to win a chase Star-Lord Pop! Vinyl Figure?

As a result of exhibiting at Comic Con our retail store located in Manningham will be closed from Friday 31 March - Monday 3 April. We will re open as per normal on Tuesday 4 April.
This year promises to be a massive event jam packed with guests, experiences, cosplay, exhibitors and of course Hero Stash. We hope to see you all there! Stop by and say hi.
Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC) Announcement 1
Unlike a lot of Online retailers, Hero Stash only sells products that we physically have in our store. We do not list stock that is "in stock with the supplier" or take payment for products we do not have yet. Once stock arrives in our store it is added Online.
As this is our policy, there are no ECCC exclusives listed on our site at this time. That doesn't mean we won't have them!
Our ECCC stock should arrive in store on Tuesday 7 March and the products will be added to our Online store then.
Due to the very limited numbers of ECCC exclusives, our order has been reduced and we will be getting a lot less than previously anticipated. As this is the case it is advised to come in store or shop Online as quickly as possible once we receive our stock.
As soon as the stock arrives, we will promote it on Social Media.

Exploding Kittens - Guest Review & Un-Boxing 0
Instead of the usual Hero Stash review and un-boxing, we asked our good friend and board game expert Daniel to write us a review. Enjoy!Hi all,
I always love it when I get requests like this, last week Hero Stash contacted me to see if I would be interested in trialling the card game Exploding Kittens and writing a review. Of course I leapt at the chance straight away.
Trialling any game is always fun but when it’s also the number one backed game on kickstarter.com, man do I get excited!
With Exploding Kittens the excitement was warranted. Exploding Kittens is a fast, fun and easy to learn card game for two to five players. As the rules say, the best way to learn is to watch the following video: www.explodingkittens.com/how
I would recommend that at least one person read the rules if you’ve never played before. I would also keep them handy as they have a reference guide for the cards that are used in the game.
So what’s the game like? Well, in short, it’s fantastic! The premise is simple, if you draw an exploding kitten from the deck and you don’t have a diffuse card – you’re out! The game is played with each player taking a turn, playing any number of cards they wish and then ending their turn by drawing a card. The game ends when all players except one have drawn an exploding kitten which leaves only one player left in the game. This can cause some pretty fun and heated discussions but the good thing here is the game is always over once the deck is done which makes it great if you like quick, enjoyable games that don’t drag on.
The cards themselves are awesome, they are clever, humorous and also almost every card has individual artwork to make them all the more interesting and funny. Cards can allow you to do things in the game such stealing opponents cards, checking what’s coming in the deck or, my personal favourite, the “Nope” card, in which you can tell another player that they ain’t playing that card and rather will be getting a Nope sandwich with a side helping of NOPE!
I should explain here that this game also has two versions, it’s got the family friendly version, which is fun for all ages and still has a heap of humour on the cards. Alternatively there is also an adult version of the game which takes that humour to the next level and if you don’t laugh at the names and drawings on those cards, well then you simply don’t have a sense of humour.
It’s pretty easy to see why this game has had such great press. If you’re a card game/board game fan and you play with a usual group, this is a must have for the collection. However even if you are just dipping your toe into the game world, this is the perfect easy starter game that all can enjoy. So go out and find some Exploding Kittens!
