                        Boba Fett ArtFX+ Statue - Unboxing 0
After unboxing the Darth Maul ArtFX+ Statue recently we held high hopes for this Boba Fett statue and we weren't disappointed. This model is part of the smaller range of Star Wars ArtFX models from Kotobukyia, but size does not affect the quality. The scale is 1/10 and as per all ArtFX models, the statue is highly detailed. Boba Fett is delivered in a classy box which looks beautiful on display as well. The packaging is top quality and all 8 pieces are safe and secure behind two layers of molded plastic which are clipped together.

This statue is the 'Cloud City' version from the Star Wars movie, The Empire Strikes Back. There are two sets of arms so that you can choose to have him displayed with the gun pointed up or at resting position. We went with the default position which is the resting one. The head connects by a swivel type connection so that it can be turned to face several directions. There is a metallic base which is not connected to the model as Boba Fett has in-built magnets in his feet. The base is not connected to the model, but the magnets allow it to stand securely but can also be moved easily.

We love this statue as it features Boba Fett from the original Star Wars films. The quality and attention to detail are second to none and any true Star Wars collector should have this on their shelf (or stored locked away for safe keeping). It is a true collectors piece and a timeless classic.

                        Star Wars lightsaber chopsticks! 0
We have started to stock a line of kitchen related Star Wars products recently and the first to arrive were the lightsaber chopsticks! We received the Yoda version first so that is what we are basing our review on. Hero Stash also stocks the Mace Windu and Luke Skywalker versions which are purple and blue in colour. Each version has its own unique handle as well.
The chopsticks come packed securely along with some artwork of the Star Wars character the lighstaber is used by. We only stock the light up versions of the chopsticks range so the mini lightsabers light up with the press of a button. There are included batteries and there is no assembly required. Just insert the batteries and light it up! The chopsticks measure just over 23cm long.

The blades detach easily so you can clean them and use them over and over again. They are not cheaply made toys, rather top quality Kotobukiya cratmanship as we have come to expect with all Kotobukiya products.
We love these and although they function perfectly as chopsticks we prefer to use them for mini lightsaber wars! Any budding Jedi should have some of these on hand.

Darth Maul ArtFX Statue - Unboxing 0
The ArtFX statues by Kotobukyia are some seriously good quality collectable statues. One of the best things about them in our eyes is the detail. Each character looks exactly like they do on screen in their respective movies and the attention to detail is second to none.
We received the Darth Maul ArtFX statue recently and we couldn't wait to get the box open and the statue in our display cabinet. Firstly, the box itself is simply beautiful. There are some great photographs and also a really cool illustration of Darth Maul on the back.

For those of you who don't know who Darth Maul is, he first appeared in the film Star Wars Episode I: A Phantom Menace and was probably the best thing about that movie!
This scale of the statue is 1/7 and once you connect the dual lightsabers it is quite a large piece. But that's a good thing. The detail in his face, tattoos and clothing is simply something to marvel at. We often find ourselves stopping by the display cabinet to have a closer look and seem to find new details each time.
The model comes pre-painted and in 6 parts. It is very easy to attached the parts together and once built it is a solid and imposing statue. The box comes with two different sets of lightsabers. One traditional blood red and also a light up version. Simply turn the lightsaber in his hands and the lightsabers come to life.

This is by far one of our favourite pieces of collectable art. We usually sell our display stock at a discounted rate but I doubt that we will be able to part with this one.
If you are into Star Wars and are a collector then this statue is a must have! Buy it here.
Here are a couple of mobile phone camera shots from the recent photo shoot of this product.
