Meet John Travolta & other Celebrities at Supanova Adelaide this weekend! 0
Attention Adelaide pop culture enthusiasts! This weekend the annual Supanova Comic Con & Gaming event returns to Adelaide. The event is held at the Wayville Showgrounds and is in town for this weekend only, 1-3 November 2019.
For those of you reading this who are saying “What even is Supanova?” Well basically the event is one of Australia’s biggest Comic Con & Gaming exhibitions. It is a massive event and one not to be missed. There are opportunities to meet celebrity guests and obtain photo ops and autographs. Most of the celebrities also host Q & A panel sessions which are always entertaining and informative, a great way to get to know them and ask your own questions. Cosplay, gaming, artists and a wide range of exhibitors are also present. To find out more about the event visit the official website of Supanova here.

This is only the fourth comic convention John Travolta has attended, don’t miss your chance to meet him in Adelaide!
So why are we telling you this? Well for the fourth year in a row, Hero Stash will be exhibiting at this event. This year we will be exhibiting from booth number 5007. You can find us on the floor plan below.
As usual we have saved some special stuff saved for this event. We are known for having rare pops and we have saved a few to launch at this event. Our popular Mystery Boxes from last year are back! These Mystery Boxes contain 3x Pop! Vinyls with a chance at receiving rare pops such as exclusives, vaulted and chases. The image below shows a few teaser pops which are included in these Mystery Boxes. There will only be 30 boxes available. If we have any left after the event they will be available in store and Online the week after.
Since we will be exhibiting from the Showgrounds our retail store will be closed from Friday 1 November through to Monday 4 November and will re-open again on Tuesday 5 November at 11am.
Our website will also be shut down while we are at the Convention, this is to ensure we keep stock levels accurate and don’t sell anything twice.

Attention Adelaide collectors!Monday 7 October 2019 is a Public Holiday here in South Australia which means our retail store will be closed, but that doesn't mean you can't get your Stash!
For the second time this year we will be exhibiting at the Adelaide Comic and Toy Fair held at the MARS Sporting Complex at Marden from 9.30am-4pm on Monday 7 October 2019.
We did this event in April this year and it was a huge success with a massive turnout of both sellers and visitors. Besides our shop there are a few other retailers selling comics and pop culture collectables as well as a large number of collectors selling their personal wares. You never know what you might find.
If you haven't attended one of these Fairs before now is a great opportunity with the Public Holiday and School Holidays combining.

NYCC 2019 Funko Fall Convention Exclusives launch at Hero Stash 0
New York Comic Con begins in just a matter of days and as most of you would know that means Funko exclusives! For those of you who are new to the Funko world you may not know what we are talking about so here is a very basic run down. For major conventions Funko make limited edition exclusive products which for the majority are Pop! Vinyls. Some of these limited edition pieces are sold at New York Comic Con only while some are called “Shared Exclusives” and are sold in retail stores until they are sold out. Some of these are very limited numbers and sell out very quickly.
The good news is that Hero Stash will have nearly all of this years shared exclusives and they will be for sale Online and in our retail store at the same time as the Australian National launch. We can confirm (barring any shipping delays) that we will have around 40 different Funko exclusives for sale from 1:30pm (SA time) on Friday the 4th of October. This year the exclusives will only include Pop! Vinyls.
Some of the exclusive items will be in very limited quantities and will sell out quickly. In order to give as many collectors as possible a chance at securing what they want we will be splitting the stock between our Online store and our physical retail store. Items which are ‘Out of Stock’ on the website may become available again later on the day as we consolidate store inventory with website inventory.
This is how it will work:
Online
- Our Online store (www.herostash.com.au) will go live with NYCC stock at 1:30pm (SA time) on Friday 4 October 2019.
- There will be a limit of 1 of the same exclusive per person for the first hour, any orders with multiple of the same product will be cancelled and refunded in full. After 2:30pm there will be no limit.
- All products listed will be in stock and shipped as fast as possible or will be ready for in store pick up immediately.
- Any items that are “Out of Stock’ may become available again as store inventory is consolidated with the website inventory.
- Stock levels will be reflective of what we receive prior to launch day, but we will be re-ordering and re-stocks are due to arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday the week after.
- Most products will become available again on Tuesday 8 October (subject to change).
In-Store
- Our physical retail store (Shop 2, 79 Hampstead Road, Manningham 5086) will be closed all morning and open at 1:30pm(SA time) on Friday 4 October.
- There will be a limit of 1 item per person for the first hour.
- Stock levels will be separate from the Online store so if products are sold out Online, they may still be available in store.
We will do our best to help as many collectors get what they want, but unfortunately the nature of exclusives means that they are limited pieces some products will be sold out in a matter of minutes.
Some tips to help secure what you want:
- Have a clear list of what products you want in priority order
- Login to the website before 1:30pm on Fridayday and ensure that your shipping address is correct
- Remember what time zone you are in and the time difference to SA time
- Redeeming Acorns or using other discount codes may slow you down
- Check out with PayPal for the fastest checkout
- Remember that some products will be in extremely limited quantities. You may wish to order those straight away before ordering other exclusives.
- Have fun and if the item sells out, be patient as we will aim to re-stock all products again
Common questions:
Q - Can I pre order?
A – No, we are under contractual obligations to not pre-sell any items before 1:30pm on Friday. All NYCC exclusives are sold on a first come first served basis.
Q – Can you hold an item for me to pick up in store?
A – We cannot hold any products without prior payment, this is to ensure everyone has a fair chance.
If you would like to hold a product for store collection you can purchase Online and use the Free In Store Pick up option for shipping. Then the product is reserved for you immediately until you can collect it.
Q - Can I purchase multiple of the same product?
A – Not for the first hour, there will be a limit of 1 of each exclusive per person both Online and In-Store. After 2:30pm on Friday you can purchase multiple of the same product.
Q – Will you get limited number pieces and Funko Shop exclusives?
A – We cannot officially confirm or deny any of the products we will be selling, but we will have around 40 different lines which covers most exclusives. We do not anticipate to have any exclusives that are ‘number limited’, e.g. 1500 pieces on launch day.
Whilst we will not be stocking these on Friday we will be working very hard to bring in as many of these type of exclusives as we can from overseas. Whatever we do get will be sold in our Rares/Uncommons section and only sold once in stock. This will take some time to physically receive products.

A – Products will go live at 1:30pm (SA time) on 4 October 2019.

Pop! Vinyl Retail Price Change 0
To all Funko Collectors,Currently the retail price for standard size 3.75" Pop! Vinyls in Australia as set by Funko & the wholesaler is $18.99. This has been the retail price since 2015. We have been informed that due to the weak Australian Dollar, that the retail price will be increasing to $19.99. This is the suggested retail price as of October 11 2019.
Customers of Hero Stash would know that our price for these figures has always been $17.50 or if you buy 3 or more in store they are only $15.00 each! Come and grab some pops for only $15.00 now.
We have always been way under retail price, but with the increase in wholesale prices we can no longer absorb the price increase.
Good news! We won't be increasing our prices to full retail, we will stay $1.50 under that price and continue to have store specials when you buy multiple.
As of Friday October 11, all standard 3.75" Pop! Vinyls in store will have the price of $18.50 each or if you buy 3 or more at once, $16.00 each which is $4.00 under the retail price.
Our Online prices for all new Pop! vinyls from now will increase to $18.50, but will be cheaper in bundles. There are also other ways to get cheaper figures, we often have discount codes and our reward points called Acorns add up quickly!
The retail price for 6" Pop! Vinyls has increased from $32.99 to $39.99. Our price has always been $30.00 for these and our new price will be $35.00 which is still $5.00 under retail.
Like Thanos, inflation is inevitable, but we are doing our best to provide competitive prices which are under the suggested retail price.
SDCC 2019 Funko Summer Convention Exclusives at Hero Stash! 0
Get ready collectors, the most wonderful and fun time of the year is almost here. For any Funko Fan, San Diego Comic Con is the biggest and most anticipated Convention of the year. There is always a load of Funko Exclusives that we all want to get our collector hands on. This is going to be massive and Hero Stash will be bringing you a huge selection of Summer Convention Exclusives!
This year Funko have decided to bring forward the launch of shared exclusives and it all officially begins on Thursday the 18th of July at 1:30pm (SA time).
We can confirm (barring any shipping delays) that we will have around 50 different Funko exclusives for sale from 1:30pm on Thursday. This will include Pop! Vinyls and 5-Star Figures.
Some of the exclusive items will be in very limited quantities and will sell out quickly. In order to give as many collectors as possible a chance at securing what they want we will be splitting the stock between our Online store and our physical retail store. Items which are ‘Out of Stock’ on the website may become available again later on the day as we consolidate store inventory with website inventory.
