This exciting pre-release event at Hero Stash is your opportunity to open the newest set before release day, explore brand-new cards, and experience the latest Lorcana mechanics with fellow fans in a fun, relaxed environment.

Event Details

Date: Saturday, 8 November 2025
Time: 11:00am start
Entry: $50 per player
Format: Sealed – open 6 Whispers in the Well booster packs and build a 40-card deck
Player Cap: 14 players maximum

What’s New in Whispers in the Well

This set introduces new gameplay mechanics and a brand-new card type known as Whispers, mysterious, partially formed glimmers created from fragments of torn lore pages. Players will also encounter exciting new Disney IPs making their Lorcana debut, including The Black Cauldron and Gargoyles.

How Sealed Format Works

Each player will receive 6 booster packs to build a deck of at least 40 cards.

No colour restrictions – mix any inks you like.
No card copy limits – if you open multiple copies, you can play them all.
New to Lorcana? No worries! We’re happy to help you build your deck, or you can just shuffle up and play. The focus is on fun and exploring the new set.

Round Structure

Up to 8 players: 3 rounds, 45 minutes each (no top cut)
9–14 players: 4 rounds, 45 minutes each, followed by a Top 4 cut with 55-minute rounds

Side Event – Pack Rush

When the main event wraps up, jump into our fast-paced Pack Rush side event for just $18.

Each player receives 2 Whispers in the Well booster packs
Use the provided promo cards as ink, shuffle the rest, and dive straight into battle!
It’s quick, unpredictable, and a great way to test new cards and have some extra fun.

All participants will receive:

1x Whispers in the Well booster pack
1x pre-release participation promo (to be revealed soon)

Winner’s Prizes:

9+ players: 1x Whispers in the Well Trove
4–8 players: 2x Whispers in the Well booster packs
